Beirut - “Goshen”
Strong coffee and Beirut is what I require this grey morning.
There’s something so refreshing about The Rip Tide. Usually, I am immediately only drawn to a few songs on Beirut’s albums; it usually takes a bit to grow on me. However, all of the tracks on this record are strong, and could successfully stand alone.
Maybe I just feel closer to this record, having worked at Ba Da Bing this summer? Either way, this is definitely my favorite album of 2011 so far. Enjoy.
