Eidolons - “Xylem and Phloem”
This is fantastic. Been listening to the whole album over on bandcamp and I’m just charmed. It’s been a while that I’ve become smitten with something like this so quickly. Highly recommend!!
Judging from the cover art, you’d expect this music to be weird. And it is, sure. But it’s also beautifully melodic, inventive and fun, fresh and quirky. The four-piece led by guitarists and vocalist Dan Byers, they convey that great northwest green, the mists and mountains, the ghosts of those woods.
