Winter finally hit Milwaukee.  It’s been snowing all afternoon and evening.  Supposed to get a couple inches tonight.  It was a bit stressful driving home.  I hadn’t planned well for “Snowmaggedon” (people, it’s January in Wisconsin - deal).  I need to go to the grocery store.  All I have is odds and ends around my kitchen.  A little digging and I found…

Freezer: peas

What’s a girl to do but whip up little risotto?  That with a bottle or two of New Belgium Belgo (Belgian Style India Pale Ale) and I’m good to go.  Snug as a bug in a rug on this snowy winter’s night.
