Saw The Artist tonight.
Really good film. Here’s a few things I learned:
Ladies, don’t wear metal bangles to a SILENT film. I know fashion isn’t always logical but really. Really. I’m surprised she couldn’t figure that out for herself.
Middle-aged ladies, if you need to talk through the film and read the phrases that appear on screen OUT LOUD in order to understand it, stay the fuck...

Me: So my sister sends me a picture text asking me if I recognized the guy. It was this dude I went to school with. Since like 2nd grade.
Amber: Weird!
Me: I know! It's totally random that they're in a different city and run into a cat I went to school with. Apparently he gave her his number and asked that I call him. I don't think Trish knows him though. She's 3 years younger that me and I don't think they hung around the same people. But I bet her husband Elisha would.

I saw the phrase "unruly stashes" in a subject...
…and then I opened it to find it came from a knitting magazine and contained tips on how to organize one’s yarn stash and a link to read about someones “stash adventure”.
Perhaps it’s time I create my own ‘zine simply so I can have an excuse to have and write about my own ‘stache adventures…

Tonight I have a hot date with Jeff Mangum at the Pabst Theater. Yeah, I’m pretty stoked. We’ll have some special guests joining us too - Andrew, Scott and Laura. You know, just a few members of Elf Power and The Gerbils.
Not sure I can think of a better way to spend a hump day. I am one lucky girl.
